Cleaning Tips For Your Car…

1.Picking the right moment

While a scorching summer’s day might seem like the perfect time to clean your car, the heat could affect the results. Extreme heat could impact the strength of the chemicals in the products you’re using and this, combined with your car’s heated bodywork, could damage your paintwork. We recommend cleaning your car and applying finishes on cooler, cloudy days or even parking your car in a garage or away from direct sunlight so that any finishes can dry away from the heat. If the weather is hotter, you could always tackle the interior of
your vehicle instead. Make sure you open your doors and windows though to prevent heat stroke or dehydration!

2.Start inside

We recommend that you start your deep clean on the inside of your car to avoid any dust or dirt getting on your car’s exterior once that’s been washed. Start by removing any rubbish from door pockets, footwells and under the seats. Keep your fingers crossed for rogue pound counts too!

Our Heavy-Duty Multi-Surface Cleaner is excellent for cleaning car linings, dashboards, and plastic trims. This concentrated formula can remove all levels of dirt and unwanted contamination, making it the perfect solution for removing thick grime deposits and unwanted dirt. To deep clean your upholstery we recommend our Foam Upholstery Cleaner. This high-quality cleaner breaks down and penetrates contamination for easy removal and leaves a clean, lemon-fresh fragrance in all vehicle interiors. If you have leather upholstery, try our Leather Care Cream. Pleasantly scented with a new car fragrance, this cream deep conditions, cleans, and restores your leather to a like new condition.

3.Get that new car smell

If you use your car a lot, have a busy family or enjoy visiting a drive-thru occasionally, you may find that your car has become a bit smelly. To get rid of unpleasant odours we recommend our Turbo Jet Air Sanitiser, a high-performance, high-perfume content product, designed to eliminate odours instantly with lasting fragrance. If you’d prefer something with a little more pizzaz, then our Cherry Liquid Air Freshener or Bubblegum Liquid Air Freshener could be the answer. As highly-concentrated air freshener re-odourisers, these products will quickly neutralise a large range of odour problems. If you have severe odours that traditional cleaning methods can’t shift, then you might need our Big D Odour Control Fogger. After completely cleaning your car, a couple of puffs from the Odour Fogger should do the trick and leave your car with a nice fresh smell.

4.Top to bottom

When it comes to your car’s exterior, the best way to clean is from top to bottom. With gravity on your side, any dirt, dust, mud and more will run to the ground and dirty water won’t run over areas you’ve already cleaned. 6.Wheely clean wheels

What’s more, with more nooks for dirt to get into, cleaning your wheels with tougher cleaning products and using the right techniques is essential.
